Cocktail Night & Torie Finnane Foundation Round

The Torie Finnane Foundation (TFF) is a regional charity with the specific aim of improving maternity services in rural and regional NSW. Torie Finnane was a much-loved midwife who lived and worked in Orange, NSW, and who tragically passed away in December 2020, at the age of 34, three days after giving birth to her third child.

The Wagga Waratahs are proud to have supported the TFF for the last two years through their charity round and charity jersey auctions. For the Waratahs, supporting the TFF was an easy choice not only for the fantastic work they do, but Torie Finnane was also the younger sister of the current Waratahs President, Geoff O’Hare.

The Wagga Waratahs are very proud of the fantastic work the TFF has done and continues to do in regional NSW, which includes the maternity sites within the Murrumbidgee and Southern Inland areas. The Waratahs look forward to continuing this ongoing relationship in the years ahead.
