Round 4 – 2020 Season
A tough and wet weekend in Tumut saw a mixed bag of results!
First’s: 27-21 v Tumut
It was great to see our boys in the grind and tough it out for a good win in rather wet conditions. With Sam Carwardine scoring the opening points of the match, the boys followed with a number of impressive tries. However a number of tough conversion attempts made for a close game, coming down to the wire. Nothing better than returning Waratah, Jayden Stanton, to seal the win for the boys in his first game back.
3 – Tom de Mattia
2 – Josh Gemmell
1 – Rob Selosse
Women’s: 17-29 v WAC
Our women’s team faced another tough battle and unfortunately did not come out victorious with an impressive WAC Team proving just too good on the day. An unfortunate injury saw Ruby Alchin come from the field late in the game – we wish her all the best and a speedy recovery!
3 – Ruby Alchin
2 – Amy Fowler
1 – Holly Stephens
Second’s: 22-12 v Tumut
Structured in defence, and dominant in attack, our boys arguably played their best game of the season so far. Coming up against a strong Tumut lineup and some rather wet conditions, the boys held strong, sealing the win and bringing home the points.
3 – Ollie Lembke
2 – Johnny Malone
1 – Curtis Schaefer
